Even though the Amélie features a beautiful pointelle openwork pattern with tiny holes, it’s opaque. The openwork details are finely and subtly woven into the fabric, giving it its unique texture without appearing see-through.
So you can wear it with complete confidence in your everyday life—romantic, airy, and yet comfortably covering.

What size do I need?

The Amélie Pointelle Abaya is longer than our previous abayas, so it drapes beautifully to the floor. 🤍
✨ We recommend Size 1 for XS–M or for women up to 168 cm tall.
✨ We recommend Size 2 for L or larger, or for women 169 cm or taller.
If you fall between the two sizes or are unsure, it’s best to go by your height to ensure the abaya has the desired floor-length fit. 🌿

Will sold-out colors and sizes be restocked?

We still have some fabric in stock at our sewing workshop, so we expect to be able to restock sold-out colors and sizes. However, this fabric is also available in limited quantities, and restocking takes some time.

My First Khimar

This is the first time I’ve tried a khimar—since I usually wear a hijab—and I’m very pleasantly surprised; I’ve been wearing nothing but the khimar for days now. I have it in the pointed style and the mini version. The Walnut color is absolutely gorgeous!! 🧡 The fit is just right for my face, the neckline is perfect, and the khimar stretches well. I also love the niqab feature when needed. 🌟 I’d love to see more colors like Coconut (something white) or Lavender/Baby Blue 🥰🌿

One of my favorite WoNs

I have the hijab in Ganache and love it—a dark, elegant black-brown that keeps me really warm, especially in winter, without making me sweat. It’s cozy and doesn’t itch. I find the hijab very low-maintenance; if it does get dirty, you don’t have to wash it—you can just scrape the dirt off with your fingernail. It’s really, really stretchy, which is actually quite rare for natural fabrics. I’m looking forward to fall now, when I can wear my Merina again :)
