I’ve been wearing a hijab for almost three years now, and I’ve been a bit sad about my hair because the natural shine I had before I started wearing a hijab was gone. It turns out it wasn’t the hijab itself, but the material I was wearing (polyester/very coarse cotton). I’ve been using the Mariposa Bonnet for almost a month now, and my hair thanks me for it every day!!! It’s shiny again, no longer brittle, and just looks sooo healthy overall. Perfect for summer. Very natural, light, and airy fabric. I wore it for the first time today. I’m so happy to finally have an abaya that I like in terms of both the fabric and the fit/cut. I also have it in cream.
I love them. When I unpacked them, I thought at first, "Oh, maybe a little too small," but they fit snugly without being too tight. The high waistband is especially comfortable. I also have them in black.
The material and craftsmanship are top-notch.
Bonnets aren't for me. I can't tie triangular scarves.
I'd prefer a style that you just pull over your head.
I'd love to buy an underscarf made from this fine cotton.
