At first it felt a little itchy, but that went away quickly. I love how breathable it is. It regulates temperature really well, which makes it great for both cold and warm weather
I bought two khimars. One in light taupe and another in walnut. The walnut one was so tight around the face that it gave me red marks under my chin within seconds. It had almost no stretch around the face due to faulty stitching. Because of that, I even sent a video as proof showing the khimar being put on and taken off and the red marks. Even though the khimar was clearly sewn abnormally tight, as a customer I have to return it at my own expense—even though I would have kept it otherwise if there had been no defects. So in the event of defects, you as the customer have to bear the responsibility, which significantly lowers the rating for customer service.
