Our WoNs are handmade for you by sewing workshops in Europe that we know personally. And at a super fair hourly wage. We produce our fabrics in the fair fashion stronghold of Portugal and in Turkey. We are in daily contact with our factories. This clearly sets us apart from the common practice in the fast fashion industry of producing in China under the exploitation of Muslim Uyghurs.

Why polyester is not an option for us

Polyester is plastic. And plastic loses microplastics – when worn, washed, breathed. These particles end up in the environment, in our food, and now even in the human body. Microplastics have now been detected in the brain, the placenta, and even in breast milk. Added to this are chemical treatments with substances such as formaldehyde and PFAS ("forever chemicals"), which accumulate and are associated with health risks.

Great fabric, comfortable fit, snug fit around the feet

I really like the fabric and the fit, especially around the stomach—it’s so comfortable to wear! I usually wear a size S, but I ordered a size M and it fits very well. As others have already mentioned, they’re very tight around the ankles, which bothers me even when putting them on, so I’m giving them 4 stars. It would be nice if that could be changed—then they’d be the perfect leggings for me! They’re also not see-through when worn over white underwear.

I ordered both sizes because I wasn’t sure which one would fit.
Size 2 was too big, too long, and too wide, and size 1 fit perfectly!!! But the sleeves are too short. I’m 5’5”. Please make them with longer sleeves, and I’ll order them again. Customer service is great—you get a response very quickly.
