Our WoNs are handmade for you by sewing workshops in Europe that we know personally. And at a super fair hourly wage. We produce our fabrics in the fair fashion stronghold of Portugal and in Turkey. We are in daily contact with our factories. This clearly sets us apart from the common practice in the fast fashion industry of producing in China under the exploitation of Muslim Uyghurs.

We develop our products ourselves from scratch—including the yarn, design, and pattern—so we do NOT buy from wholesalers, and you can only find our products at our store. Why polyester is not an option for us

Polyester is plastic. And plastic loses microplastics – when worn, washed, breathed. These particles end up in the environment, in our food, and now even in the human body. Microplastics have now been detected in the brain, the placenta, and even in breast milk. Added to this are chemical treatments with substances such as formaldehyde and PFAS ("forever chemicals"), which accumulate and are associated with health risks.

Simply beautiful! The fabric is especially comfortable to wear—both on warmer and colder days. I have the Sandy Hijab in four different colors, and to be honest, I can’t decide which one I like best. All the colors are gorgeous and pair perfectly with both chic and elegant outfits. Thank you, WoNu, for being there!

Why didn't I buy these sooner? They're so soft and cozy, with a wonderful cut that covers the body while flattering the figure. I bought size 2 new and size 1 secondhand—both are wonderful and make an instant difference! Size 2 fits nicely loose and relaxed; I think I could even fit a baby bump in there (inshallah) 😍 Size 1 is elegant yet still modest.
