The first time I held one of those tiny onesies made of100% merino wool for my baby, all I could think was: Why is it that only my child gets to wear such luxurious fabrics?
So incredibly soft, so light, so breathable - and always the perfect temperature, whether warm or cold. And also dirt and odor repellent. So really: the best of the best. And me? I was standing next to it, still wearing a polyester hijab at the time, and suddenly felt a bit cheated.

For your Merina, a gentle Hand wash in lukewarm waterbecause merino wool loves even temperatures and thus retains its shape. Use a mild wool detergentso that the fine fibers remain supple. Please Do not wring or rubbut only squeeze carefully - strong movement can mat merino. Then put on the hijab Dry lying on a towelso that it does not warp. And best of all: Merino is self-cleaningtherefore in most cases it is sufficient to simply wear your hijab. to air out or clean selectivelyinstead of washing it completely. This will keep your Merina beautiful for a long time.

The hijab retains heat very well. The good thing is that it doesn't make you sweat, but retains your own body heat. It's thicker than other hijabs, but it's my faithful companion in freezing weather. I have both colors. It scratches my skin slightly, but only minimally. I'm someone who gets overstimulated easily anyway. But it's totally fine, especially when you wear it for longer, it gets softer. That's how I feel, anyway.
I wear this hijab very often; it goes with almost everything.

I love both Merina colors! I prefer natural fibers, and wearing merino wool as a "jersey" style hijab has been so nice. The ganache color works well for me because black is a bit harsh, so I wear it as a dark neutral. Wildwood is also a nice brown color :) I recommend these to my friends and would definitely buy them again in different colors!
The only improvement I could suggest would be to make it a little longer.
I really love this hijab. Wearing natural fibers is important to me, so having a "jersey" style scarf made of soft merino wool is great. Even after my husband accidentally washed it on the hot cycle with our towels (and put it in the dryer...!), it still looks pretty good. The color is great. Black is a bit harsh on me, so I wear this very dark, rich brown instead of black, and it works great. I recommend it to my friends and would buy it again if thereâs another color, inshAllah!
It would be nice if it were a little longer; sometimes the tails are a bit short for the style I wear, and it can look awkward.

I have the hijab in Ganache and love itâa dark, elegant black-brown that keeps me really warm, especially in winter, without making me sweat. Itâs cozy and doesnât itch. I find the hijab very low-maintenance; if it does get dirty, you donât have to wash itâyou can just scrape the dirt off with your fingernail. Itâs really, really stretchy, which is actually quite rare for natural fabrics. Iâm looking forward to fall now, when I can wear my Merina again :)

The hijab is a beautiful color, and it's opaque when worn in two layers. The fabric just takes a little getting used toâit's a bit rougher than I'm used to.
