This makes it not only sustainable, but also wonderfully light, elastic, and quick-drying. The fabric is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, which means it is free from harmful chemicals, skin-friendly, and safe – even for sensitive skin. It also offers certified UV protection with UPF 60 (UV STANDARD 801) and still feels super comfortable even after hours in the water. Good for you – and good for our environment! 🌿✨

What does UV Standard 801 mean?

Our burkini is the first burkini to be tested according to the strict UV STANDARD 801 of the Hohenstein Institute. This means that it protects you with a UPF of 60—even when the fabric is wet, stretched, or worn frequently. Up to 98% of UV radiation is reliably blocked.
