Care instructions

For your Aurela, a gentle hand wash in lukewarm water is sufficient, as cashmere thrives in consistent temperatures and retains its shape this way. Use a mild wool detergent to keep the fine fibers soft and supple. Please do not wring or rub the fabric; instead, gently squeeze out the water—vigorous movement can cause cashmere to felt. Then gently stretch the hijab back to its original width and lay it flat on a towel to dry so it doesn’t lose its shape. And the best part: cashmere is self-cleaning, so in most cases, it’s enough to simply air out your hijab or spot-clean it instead of washing it completely. This way, your Aurela will stay beautiful for a long time.

My fabric secret? Micromodal.

I'm made of 90% micromodal - the finer, more glamorous and more ecological sister of normal modal.
What does that mean? I am incredibly soft, silky-smooth and always keep my shape. I wrap around you so gently that you barely feel me - and yet I fit securely.

Cashmere? Of course!

The remaining 10%? The finest cashmere. I'll keep you warm when it gets chilly, while remaining light as a feather (at just 110gsm). What's more, this touch of luxury gives me a very special sheen - almost like a subtle noor framing your face.

At 190×80 cm, I'm XXL - because I know that you love to cover yourself up completely and stylishly. Whether loose, voluminous or classically tied - I go with every variation and stay charmingly in place.

I think the Amelies are significantly better in terms of quality than the Majas

I find the Amelies to be significantly better quality than the Majas, and I’m generally satisfied with the fabrics. However, the sleeves on the Amelies shrunk noticeably after washing. Also, the logo on the beige Amelie is sewn onto the back, which doesn’t particularly bother me personally, but is still worth mentioning.
What disappoints me overall is the workmanship. With almost all the garments I’ve bought so far, I’ve had to make adjustments myself—in some cases, quite a few. Especially given the prices, I find that really frustrating. Beautiful fabrics and designs are one thing, but I also expect the sewing quality to be just as good.
Although the Amelies are definitely better than the Majas in my opinion, there’s still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to the workmanship. The “Hijab Strawberry” is also from Wraps of Nature. It was just great to wear on vacation when it was 40 degrees because it was as light as a feather.
