Care instructions

Wash your abaya on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C with a mild detergent. After washing, pull into shape and stretch carefully to maintain the length of the abaya. Leave to air dry - the tumble dryer is taboo.

Maya abaya

I ordered two Maya abayas. Dark green and brown. These abayas are suitable for women up to size 44 and also 46 if the arms are narrow. I wear size 46 myself. 93kg. 1m64. Length fits. These abayas are too tight on my arms. While it was said that these abayas are suitable even for a heavily pregnant woman expecting twins. This is not true. Plus the entire top part so arms and bust are sheer. What you wear underneath is visible. The smoking part is still in that area. I wore an abaya for a few hours and there was lint under the armpit due to the friction. No value for money. I wanted to return the unworn brown abaya, which I did return. But I couldn't post it in time due to the circumstances. I am sorry. Disappointed.

First of all JazakAllahu Khairan for your honest feedback. We are sorry that you did not like the Maya Abaya as much as you should have.
The Maya is really a small lightweight - we only recommend it up to size L (42/44) because it is very airy and loosely woven. That's exactly what makes it so comfortable to wear - but it's not designed for a lot of tension and friction, but to fall nice and loose. Otherwise, the fabric will feel "stressed" faster than we do after a long day of fasting 😅.
The Luanria abaya is a much better fit for your measurements - it has a more stable fit and still remains elegant. If you wish, you can exchange your unworn brown Maya (the exchange period is longer, so no stress, InshaAllah). Or you can use our presale post on Insta if you prefer to sell it on there.

Super light fabric for the summer

Super light fabric for the summer. The skin feels comfortable. Just a little see-through, so you have to wear an undergarment.

A really great abaya!

A really great abaya! I am 1.70m and it fits perfectly in terms of length! The cut is totally cute and covering (I normally wear a S/M). It's important to wear an undergarment as the fabric isn't completely opaque. But I would buy the abaya again and again.
