What material is the burkini made of?
Our burkini is made from 85% recycled polyester (rPES) - obtained from recycled plastic bottles - and 15% elastane. This not only makes it sustainable, but also wonderfully light, stretchy and quick-drying. The fabric isOEKO-TEX®Standard 100 certified, which means it is free from harmful chemicals, skin-friendly and safe - even for sensitive skin. It also offers you tested UV protection with UPF 60 (UV STANDARD 801) and feels super comfortable even after hours in the water. Good for you - and good for the environment! 🌿✨

First of all: I'm really thrilled.
I was skeptical at first whether size 2 would fit me, as I wear a size 48. But the kimono/burkini fits very well. After trying it on for the first time, I walked around the apartment with a big grin on my face.
The material feels very comfortable and somehow soft on the skin, even though it is "swimsuit fabric".
The kimono simply makes me feel well-dressed and completely comfortable. Perfect for spending the day at the beach or pool.
The whole system is simply very well thought out. I also love the loose sleeves.
I'm already looking forward to wearing it in the water soon.
To the hijabis who are still thinking about it: treat yourself to it. You won't regret it.

I swim laps regularly and recently bought a burkini from WoN. It is particularly important to me that there are no chafing marks or nasty surprises after 40 minutes of swimming laps without a break. The WoN burkini passed the test with flying colors. I converted the xxl swimming hijab into a neckholder dress and pulled it over the burkini. I also have the kimono that I would like to wear over it on the beach, but for the indoor pool the xxl swimming hijab is perfectly adequate as a neckholder dress.
I am very happy and am considering ordering the bodysuit and leggings again.

Only the swim cape has some excess fabric on the top of the head. It looks like it was designed for women wearing a bun. But it hardly bothers me.
I opened the package full of anticipation, my first WoN order, and what can I say! Conventional burkinis smell very strong and chemical, this one doesn't at all! The material of the burkinis is so comfortable on the skin and although the complete combination consists of 6 parts, it is not heavy or constricting at all, but so light! The idea of being able to put the burkini together yourself and choose from different colors is just great! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 💕
